This is not a book you read in a few hours. It's a learning tool for bass players and, as such, requires time and review as you work your way through it. It's the kind or book you want to spend an hour or so daily with as you practice. At the beginning the author starts with the Circle of 5th, a concept I could never seem to quite get, but reading his explanation, I completely understood. The author's writing style is interesting, fresh and clear. I'm looking forward to working my way though it, then going back for a second go-round.I use a laptop for my practice sessions and, because the screen is much larger than my Kindle, when I'm reading and working with my bass, it's much easier to follow using Kindle for the PC.
